Well that depends on your goals. Are you writing just for the sake of writing? Or do you hope to develop an audience and maybe make a name for yourself as a writer in a particular niche?
For starters, the best way to develop traffic is to post early and often and to share links to your posts either by email or in all of your social networks, or both.
Posting photos or video also increases your impact, so dust off that digital camera and change the batteries.
Interacting with your readers when they comment is a great way get them coming back a few times a day, but we would urge you to manage your blog in a fair and civil manner. Be open to criticism. You may opt to use a screen name different from your own, but remember that no one is truly anonymous on the Internet.
